St James provides subsidized meeting space for many recovery programs each week.
Seventeen 12-step programs meet at St James. This includes 6 alcoholics anonymous (AA), 3 narcotics anonymous (NA), overeaters anonymous, adult children of alcoholics, 4 Alanon groups, codependents anonymous (CODA).

Music Events
The St. James sanctuary is designed to acoustically accommodate numerous types of events. Both community choral and instrumental events are hosted by the church. Some events are free and open to the public while others are ticketed to provide support for the professional participating groups. Check the church calendar to see what's coming up next.
CHORAL EVENTS include:
Evensong, a choral worship service, evolved from the daily services held in the medieval Church. Evensong, as arranged in the Anglican Book of Common Prayer, has been sung regularly in the Church since the 16th century.
Other events includeTaos Opera Institute concerts, Taos Community Chorus concerts and Organ and Piano Recitals.
